Welcome to
Jungle Magi Fellowship
We try to promote the meaningful synthesis of indigenous thought and globalized sciences:
. . .
Drawing on all traditions, we hope to further humanity's progress in understanding the vast ancient resources our planet has provided.
. . .
Our goals include global diversity, local sovereignty, and holistic sustainability in the wild, in the garden, on the farm, in diet, body, mind.
. . .
Hold vigil with us against ignorance, imperialism, entropy, infection, toxicity, and deficiency.

Jungle Magi Fellowship explores how people understand, cultivate, and care for the living world.
Founded by Jeremy and Emily Klipsch, our work brings together biology, ethnobotany, tropical agriculture, art, and storytelling. Our focus includes Samal Island and the Davao region of the southern Philippines, informed by a wider curiosity about cultures and ecosystems around the world.
Through articles, videos, and field observations, we explore useful plants, farming traditions, and the relationships between communities and their environments.
Our guiding commitments are respect for traditional knowledge, community authority over its sharing, fair compensation for contributors, and ecological stewardship.
